New Larger Ultra Efficient Multi-Level Electrolysis Chambers

Prime Water Ionizers with Solid or Mesh plate delivers an electrical current to the water through an array of positively and negatively charged Platinum coated Titanium plates. The more the water passes in and out of the Titanium Mesh system and the greater the electrical charge to the water (especially when powered by the newer SMPS power systems) — the higher the pH (potential of Hydrogen) and the ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) of the drinking water.

A mesh plate uses the same principle as the slotted plate, but improves upon it by providing cross-channeling to more evenly direct electron flow. The applied current more evenly saturates the plate, increasing the effective delivery of electrical current to create better alteration in your water. Mesh plate technology is just like the best irrigation systems.

The principle of edge conductivity is well known — electrons travel better and faster along edges rather than flat surfaces. Mesh plate increases edge surface area, and it conducts and distributes electrons more uniformly and more efficiently than flat surfaces.

As the entire surface area of mesh plates acts as an energy distribution point, there is no concentration of energy to cause burning effect or oxidative corrosion as in solid plates. Hence it is more effective in maintaining pH, ORP and activated Hydrogen. Besides, it is evident that mesh technology creates better water flow.

This type of electrode is ideal for the production of chlorine because its long life, high efficiency and stability at low voltages allows it to reduce running costs. Dimensionally stable Titanium anodes are the state of the art as anodes for a wide range of electrochemical applications. The excellent stability of titanium against surface and pitting corrosion makes it dimensionally stable, permitting dramatic innovations in equipment design, operation conditions and energy consumptions of many electrolysis processes.

The application of coatings containing mixed metal oxides (MMO) such as RuO₂, IrO₂, TiO₂ and Ta₂O₅ allows it to reduce remarkably the over-potential for anodic chlorine and anodic oxygen evolution. Additionally, the excellent stability of the MMO-coated titanium anode consequently does not contaminate the electrolysis system, improving the product’s purity and maintenance costs. DSE (anodes) are generally used to produce chlorine in saline solution.

The Prime dual filtration system is made up of multi level stage specialized media filter and a premium activated carbon filter. The Premium Activated Carbon filter is structured to improve the reduction of heavy metals and fluoride found in many city water sources. The silver activated carbon portion of the filter kills bacteria and keeps them from growing within the filter and being passed through to the electrolysis chamber. The multi level stage sediment filter reduces additional sediment particles in the water maintaining the life and performance of your water ionizer.

Ionizers are designed to deliver two things: clean and healthy water. Proper filtration is critically important to achieving both. While all ionizers employ a filter to clean the water, all filters are not created equal. Most ionizer filters available today feature three to five stages and employ only granulated activated charcoal (GAC) together with some form of calcium.

Granular Activated Carbon

Coconut tree based activated carbon used to make water taste better by eliminating organic compounds, bad smells and flavors as well as foreign substances at the 18–50 mesh size. The adsorptive capacity of granular activated carbon (GAC) makes it ideal for removing a variety of contaminants from water, air, liquids and gases. GAC is also an environmentally responsible product that can be reactivated through thermal oxidation and used multiple times for the same application.

By varying manufacturing conditions, internal pore structures are created by imparting unique adsorption properties specific to each product type. The choice of product for a specific application will vary due to differing impurities and proprietary process conditions.

Tourmaline Ceramic Ball

Tourmaline emits Far Infra Red (FIR) energy naturally. FIR produces well documented health benefits and it also has an amazing effect on water. The Biostone contains the semi-precious gemstone tourmaline in ceramic form, so you get FIR on tap.

The energy balls' main ingredient is tourmaline which can improve the water’s pH. Negative ion potential is produced by the weak ionization from between functional Mg and water.

UV Light sterilization is an environmentally friendly method of killing bacteria, mold, fungi, and viruses without the use of harmful chemicals and does not produce corrosive materials or disinfection by-products (DBPs).

Ultraviolet is one energy region of the electromagnetic spectrum, which lies between the x-ray region and the visible region. UV itself lies in the ranges of 200 nanometers (nm) to 390 nanometers (nm). Optimum UV germicidal action occurs at 260 nm.

UV Light is an optional component, but we have decided to add it on as a gift for our customers in Singapore. There is no need to boil your ionized alkaline water so that you can enjoy the full benefits of the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) in your water to enhance your health. The ORP in the ionized water will dissipate when you boil it.

Cleaning Filter

Prime Citric Acid Cleaning Filter for Ionizer

CLEAN YOUR IONIZER AT LEAST ONCE PER 3–6 MONTHS

In order to maintain the highest performance level of your water ionizer, we recommend you perform this simple cleaning procedure at least once 3–6 months, whichever comes first.

This procedure will remove mineral build-up from the electrodes and membranes in the electrolysis chamber to ensure optimal ionization power of your water ionizer for many years.

VERY IMPORTANT

When cleaning your water ionizer, be sure to always use the Purified water level only! Do not use any other level while cleaning or damage could occur.

How to use Cleaning Filter (Citric Acid Filter)

Phase 1 Swap the 2nd filter for the Cleaning Filter ~2 min
Phase 2 Run Purified water through the unit 15 sec
Phase 3 Let the citric acid soak inside the unit 6–8 hours
Phase 4 Flush with Purified water to clear residue 5–10 min
Phase 5 Remove Cleaning Filter, reinstall the 2nd filter ~2 min

Turn off power to the ionizer by pressing the circle side of the power switch located at the bottom of the ionizer.
Remove the 2nd filter (Blue color label) cover located on the right side when looking at the back of the ionizer. Remove the 2nd filter by twisting the filter and then lifting it out of the ionizer.
Remove the black cap packaging cover from the bottom of the Cleaning Filter.
Press down and twist the filter until it stops.
Replace the cover and turn the power switch back on.
Apply water pressure, press the "ON/OFF" button and produce water for 15 seconds. Press the "ON/OFF" button to stop extraction. For counter top applications, remove the acidic tube from the sink and fasten it to the ionizer ensuring that the cleaning solution will not leak out of the ionizer.
Now let the unit sit for a minimum of 6–8 hours or for best results, overnight. The unit is full of a citric acid solution that will take many hours to break down the scale that has built up in your unit. Letting it sit in the unit for over a 6 hour period is okay and will not harm the ionizer.
Once the unit has sat for the recommended time, (leaving scaling filter in place) unfasten the acidic tube from the ionizer and place it back in the sink (for counter top applications) and then press the center "ON/OFF" button. Let the unit extract water for 3–5 minutes. This step will purge all of the citric solution, along with any scale, out of the machine.
The cleaning process is now complete. Remove the Cleaning Filter and throw it away and reinstall a 2nd filter (Blue color label).
